How to Make DIY SAFE Bug Spray

Ciao lovelies! Today I'm going to share a recipe for Safe DIY bug spray that you can make at home super easily.

I made this bug spray today and let me just say- it works really well. When I made this recipe, it was very easy to put together and only took about five minutes. I used it on myself and almost immediately the bugs left me alone. It was very effective and didn't cause any skin problems. The best part? It's made with safe ingredients so it's safe for the environment too! (There are some things to note about usage around pets, more on that later.)

This recipe is so simple. All you need is:

- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

- 1/2 Cup Witch Hazel

- About 30-35 drops of essential oils (SPECIFICALLY: Lemongrass, Tea Tree, Citronella, Eucalytpus or Rosemary, or a combination.) WARNING: Please note that certain essential oils (Tea Tree oils) are bad for pets. Do not use on or around pets, especially dogs

- a spray bottle (I used a glass bottle with a plastic sprayer).

- a funnel

STEPS:

- Combine Witch Hazel and Apple Cider Vinegar in a cup. Mix well.

-Add the essential oils, I used a combination of Rosemary, Lemongrass, Citronella, and Eucalyptus. I also added about 2 drops of peppermint oil for scent.

- Mix well.

- Use a funnel to pour the mixture into the glass bottle and put on the sprayer.

- Shake well

Now you can simply spray the mixture wherever you need coverage, like normal bug spray.

Isn't it so simple? I love this recipe. I was so surprised at how easy it is to make your own bug spray.
