Ciao lovelies! Today I’d like to discuss 10 daily changes
you can make to your routines to decrease your negative impact on the environment.
Did you know it takes only 21 days to form a habit? These little
habits are just some of the things you can be doing to help the environment. Why
not give them a try for at least one month?
#1- Turn out the lights when you leave a room if you are the last one out.
This can save not only the planet, but also your (or your
family’s) electric bill!
#2- Reuse things like paper. If you have space to write more on something, do it!
This is something I could also improve on. I need to start
filling and finishing notebooks (both front and back of a page!)
#3- Turn off the faucet!
If you’re doing the dishes, fill up two basins, one for
soapy and one for clean water!
#4- Switch to re-usable bags.
Instead of using
plastic bags every time you go grocery shopping, bring along re-useable ones. Fun
Fact: Some stores like Aldi don’t even give you plastic bags, you’re just expected
to bring your own.
#5- Replace your bulbs when they burn out with energy efficient ones.
#6- Try to have one beef-free day per week!
Why? Because it takes 2,500 gallons of water to produce a
single pound of beef.
#7- Always recycle glass. Even if this means using it for DIY!
Un-recycled glass can take up to a million years to
decompose!
#8- Take shorter showers.
#9- Buy local produce/products when you can.
This cuts down demand for products that travel a long
distance, which uses a lot of resources to transport products.
#10- When possible, use recycled products (products made from recycled materials) instead of plastic ones.
Thank you for reading today. What do you think of these
habits? Will you try any of them? Let us know in the comments!

My personal fave new sticker is the Butterfly Logo:
Though if you can't decide, Redbubble does have a deal where you can get 4 and get 25% off each sticker! Plus they regularly have 20% deals that can be combined with the 25% off! (I personally LOVE Redbubble, though this is not sponsored.)
