Top 5 Summer DIY's

Ciao lovelies! It's been a while since a 5 post hasn't it? Today's post is a list of the top 5 Summer DIY projects! These projects are sure to make your summer a bunch more fun!

These projects are fun, relatively easy, and perfect for summer!

#1- Popsicles

A yummy treat to cool off this summer- why not make your own popsicles? Allrecipes has tons of popsicle recipe ideas- or you could just pour in some fruit juice and fruit slices for something healthy and refreshing!

#2- Knot Jewelry

A fun summer craft can be to make knot jewelry! There are all kinds of knot jewelry, from paracord bracelets, friendship bracelets, etc! Make one for yourself and all of your friends.

#3- Bath Bombs

While not limited to summer, DIY bath bombs are a huge trend lately! Just remember that working with chemicals is somewhat dangerous, never inhale these chemicals and certainly never EVER eat them. 

For most bath bombs, this is your basic recipe: (From THIS site- find the full recipe and instructions there!):

-1 cup baking soda 

-1/2 cup citric acid 

-1/2 cup Epsom salt

- 1/2 cup cornstarch

- 3/4 tsp. water

- 2 tsp. essential oil

- 2 tsp. oil

#4-Customized Hair Clips

Summer heat makes hair clips a huge necessity! Keeping your hair out of your face or off of your neck is very important to keeping it off of sweat. So hair clips are very essential! But, say you don't want to lose your hair clips since they look like everyone else's? Why not customize them! It takes two seconds and can be done with nail polish!

#5- Flower Crowns

A great summer DIY is to make flower crowns! Whether you make them out of real or fake flowers, flower crowns are a great statement accessory in the summer months. An easy way to make this craft is to sew fake flowers onto a ribbon to tie around your head. You can get all the supplies you need at your local dollar store, so this won't even be expensive!
