3 SUPER TERRIFYING Haunted Locations in America


Ciao lovelies! Today’s post is about 3 supremely scary haunted places in America. These places have varying reasons for being haunted, and various ghost types, but all have one thing in common- You won’t want to be there alone at night.

#1- Iowa’s Villisca Axe Murder House


This house became famous after a brutal and horrible tragedy took place there. In June of 1912, the town of Villisca, Iowa became the site of a horrific string of murders. In total eight people were killed, six were children, all were killed by someone using an axe.
The house is said to be extremely haunted, there is even an episode of Ghost Adventures where they investigate the house.


#2- The LaLaurie Mansion in Louisiana


Madame Marie Delphine LaLaurie, the woman who lived in the LaLaurie mansion, conducted horrible human experiments on slaves in the attic. People report that they can still hear the screams and agonized cries of her victims and her mansion continues to be one of the most haunted places in America.

#3- Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast in Massachusetts


The scene of one of the most famous murders in American history- Andrew and Abby Borden were discovered axed to death in their home. The prime suspect was Lizzie Borden, their daughter. While Lizzie was acquitted of the murders, the public still believed and still believes now that Lizzie was the murderer.
