How to Make DIY Photobooth Props for Your Next Party! 3 Easy and Fun Projects!

Ciao lovelies! Today I’m sharing with you how to make 3 DIY photobooth props for your next party! These DIY’s are soo easy, each one only has like 4 steps.

It’s party season, and these DIY Photobooth props could be a hit at your next event! Don’t forget to read to the end too for some tips on how to set up your “photobooth”!

What You’ll Need:

Foam in various colors, I found this pack of 50 sheets of foam in various colors at Walmart for $5.

Skewers or long wooden dowels

Scissors

Pencil

Hot Glue

So now let’s get into the DIY’s!

#1- I “mustache” you a question!

To make this mustache prop, you’ll need to fold a foam sheet (of your choice in color) in half, and draw a half of a mustache on one side.
Cut it out!
Glue the skewer to the mustache on one side. Use some of the leftover foam to cover the glue.
Try it on and take lots of silly pictures!

#2- My “Crown”-ing achievement!

For this one you’ll want to draw a crown shape on some yellow foam and cut it out.
Next, cut out some “jewels” from other colors of foam and glue them to the front.
Flip it over and glue on the skewer with some foam covering it.
Try it on to become a royal!

#3- I See You!

For this, draw and cut out oversized glasses from foam.
Follow the same methods listed in the DIY’s above for gluing the glasses to the skewer.
Try them on and take lots of fun pictures!

Tips for Setting Up Your Booth

Tip #1- Find a corner of your party’s space and place a little table nearby it. Place the photobooth props on the table. Hang a sign that says “Photobooth!”

Tip #2- For a backdrop, you can hang a simple sheet on the wall. Or….

Tip #3- Don’t want to spend a lot on a backdrop? No problem! Dollar Tree has backdrops for just $1! (Not sponsored, just a tip from someone who has seen these at their local Dollar Tree).
I hope you all have fun with these DIY’s. Once you have the materials, the possibilities are endless! You can make your props match your party’s theme too!
