Ciao lovelies! Today, I want to start by asking some
questions. Okay, let’s begin. How much sleep have you gotten in the last week? How
many solid meals have you eaten in the past week? How much time have you spent
on self-care in the past week? If you answered “none” or anything low in those
questions, it’s time for a self-care check-in.
I know that the end of the semester is crunch time for every
student. Many students neglect their health, both mental and physical. So right
now, I encourage you to go through this list and try to complete it by the end
of the week.
SELF-CARE CHECK-IN LIST:
Check off each of these that you’ve done this week.
-
Eaten at least 2 solid meals a day. Includes at
least one vegetable / fruit.
-
Drank at least 4 cups of water per day.
-
Slept at least 8 hours per night, if not more.
-
Taken at least 1-2 hours for self-care per day.
Not sure what to do for self-care? Here’s some ideas for simple
self-care:
-
Treat yourself to something small, whether that’s
your favorite candy or watching one of your favorite movies.
-
Spend some time working on a passion project,
something you enjoy doing.
-
Go on a walk and get some fresh air.
-
Contact a friend to hang out for a few hours.
-
Write down some things that make life worth
living.
Overall, take a deep breath and remember that your health
matters too. Don’t overwork yourself for anything. Always remember to practice
self-care and take care of your health.
