Dealing with Judgement – Royals Lesson!

Ciao lovelies! Today’s Royals Lesson is about Dealing with Judgement. 

People can be judgmental in many ways.

 

Like staring at you when your dressed up or telling you what THEY think you should do with YOUR life, or gossiping about you, stuff like that.

It can be difficult to face judgement because often its coming from a place of malice and not a place of true concern for your well-being. Often judgmental people want to bring you down and not lift you up.

Judgmental people are rarely ever confident in themselves. The reason that they’re tearing you down is because they feel bad about themselves, so they judge you because it makes them feel better about their own life. 

Sometimes people will judge because they are uneducated/ignorant. Sometimes someone will judge you because they don’t understand you or what you like.

And sometimes people will judge you simply because they think that their way is the only way or the best way. And that isn’t always the case.

So how do you deal with judgement?

#1- Have Patience. Something that I also need to work on (see video below) is having patience with those who judge you. This can be incredibly difficult because getting unwanted judgment is SUPER ANNOYING. But you have to remember to be patient.

#2- Remember that it’s not personal most of the time. Many times, when someone judges you, it’s about their own insecurities, not about you at all. They’re just using you as a target to make themselves feel better. And yes, while this is unfair, just know that it might not even be about you at all. 

#3- Let it go. The hardest thing to do, is to just let it go. Don’t get into a fight about it, don’t flip out, just let it go. I really need to work on this as well.
