Ciao lovelies! Today’s post is about the benefits of journaling/
lifestyle blogging!
I’m sure you’ve all seen the trend for personal journaling recently.
Things like bujo (bullet journaling) have become insanely popular, with spreads
like these:

Spreading through Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest like
wildfire. And while it may seem like “trend-hopping,” journaling and/or
lifestyle blogging can have amazing benefits to one’s personal life!
-Documenting Personal Growth
Things like bullet journals have “habit trackers,” ways to
monitor both good and bad habits and develop better habits. Through these habit
trackers, or even just normal journal entries, it is easy to recognize personal
growth and shortcomings. Being able to recognize these things is the first step
to growth and self-improvement.
-Self Reflection
Going right along with documenting personal growth is the
ability for self-reflection. Personal journals and/or lifestyle blogging
provides opportunities and platforms for reflection. We can reflect on events,
emotions, morals, fashion, etc.
-Artistic Expression
One of the biggest points of the new bujo trend is the
opportunity for artistic expression. Not only is there art in the beautiful
journal spreads:

But also in the written contents of personal journals and
lifestyle blogs. Writing is an art form, whether it’s personal writing,
non-fiction writing, blogging, planner writing, essays, etc.
What do you all think? Do you think there are benefits to journaling
and blogging? Do you think one is better than the other? Do you journal or
blog? Please share your blogs in the comments, I’d love to read all of them!
