1. Each cat's nose has unique ridge pattern, sort of similar to the human fingerprint.
Every cat in the world has a different pattern of nose ridges! If you own multiple cats, none of them have the same pattern. I never thought of cats having "fingerprints."

2. Sea otters hold hands when they sleep to keep from drifting apart
 Sea otters don't want to be separated when they sleep, so they hold hands! They also wrap kelp around themselves to stay in place!

3. Norway has knighted a penguin.
Yep, in 2008 Norway knighted a penguin named Nils Olav! His new name is Sir Nils Olav.

4. Gentoo penguins propose to their lifelong, monogamous mates with a pebble.
Giving a whole new meaning to "give her the rock," Gentoo penguins actually propose to their desired lifelong mate with a pebble!

5. Sweden has a rabbit jumping competition/show called Kaninhoppning
Oh my god so cute...I'm sorry, what was I saying? Oh yes. Bunny jumping. Eeeeeeeek. I can not think of anything more adorable than watching bunnies jump over obstacles.
